| MERGER ANNOUNCEMENT |

The
Board of Family 1st Federal Credit Union has voted to pursue
a merger with First Choice Federal Credit Union.
The decision to merge was made after efforts to replace the
manager position, vacant since January, were unsuccessful.
While the decision to merge was difficult, the partnering with
First Choice was not. First
Choice has been a friend to Family 1st for over 30 years and
provided staff and management during this period. The merger proposal is subject to approval by NCUA and will be submitted to membership for approval. Your Board highly recommends a vote FOR the merger. A ballot will be mailed to the membership in the next month or two and an in-person meeting will be held. Finally, the Board would like to publicly express their thanks to the staff of Family 1st for stepping up to continue to faithfully serve our members. |
